The problems regularly begin when switching between sources (say games consoles and television).<\/p>\n<p>Some have fixed this by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.community.sonos.com\/home-theater-228993\/lost-surround-and-sub-after-update-6868561\">restarting the Sonos devices<\/a> \u2014 but the audio issues begin again when switching to another source.<\/p>\n<p>Over recent years, Sonos has moved beyond being a simple provider of wireless music, instead focusing on providing a full audio experience. Setting up a wireless audio system is still fraught with difficulties and, personally, has sent me running into my network configurations more times than I can count.<\/p>\n<p>Knowing this issue with surround sound is from Sonos\u2019 14.6 software update is bound to soothe a lot of users\u2019 worries.
