According to reports by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/05\/viola-davis-peacemaker-spinoff-hbo-max-1235015526\/\">Deadline<\/a>, Viola Davis\u2019 Amanda Waller, the mind behind all of the <em>Suicide Squad<\/em>\u2019s screen missions, is getting her own spin-off TV show at HBO Max, following in the footsteps of John Cena\u2019s <em>Peacemaker<\/em>. While Gunn is currently in the last weeks of filming on <em>Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3<\/em> for Marvel Studios, he will be returning to Warner Bros. for a second season of <em>Peacemaker,<\/em> and it looks like he will now have a hand in the Amanda Waller series.
