Official camera modules just don\u2019t offer the resolution, autofocus, or digital zoom features that we expect from DSLRs or even smartphone cameras. Now, ArduCam is selling <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.arducam.com\/64mp-ultra-high-res-camera-raspberry-pi\/\">the Hawk-eye<\/a>, an insane and fully-featured 64MP camera module for the Pi.<\/p>\n<p>The Hawk-eye camera uses the same ribbon connector and mounting system as the official <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.raspberrypi.com\/products\/camera-module-v2\/\">Pi Camera Module 2.1<\/a>, so it\u2019s incredibly easy to install and should work with existing enclosures and accessories. Its 64MP sensor captures still images with a 9152\u00d76944 resolution and 1080p 30FPS video when paired with a Pi 4 or Pi Compute board. (Older Pi boards work with the camera but only operate at 16MP.)<\/p>\n<p>More importantly, the Hawk-eye has a full autofocus lens with a maximum f\/1.8 aperture. And as <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tomshardware.com\/news\/arduino-hawk-eye-64mp-raspberry-pi-camera\"><em>Tom\u2019s Hardware<\/em><\/a> notes, the camera\u2019s\u00a084-degree viewing angle is equivalent to that of a full-frame camera with a 24mm lens.<\/p>\n<p>Sample images from the Hawk-eye, as shown above, are quite impressive. Though Mark Wilson at\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/news\/raspberry-pis-new-64mp-camera-is-way-more-exciting-than-my-iphone\"><em>TechRadar<\/em><\/a> points out something very important here\u2014earlier Pi cameras may actually capture better images than the Hawk-eye. The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eal of the Hawk-eye isn\u2019t just its resolution, but its autofocus features, viewing angle, and maximum\u00a0f\/1.8 aperture (which is perfect for night photography, light paintings, and photos with a shallow depth of field).<\/p>\n<p>You can <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.arducam.com\/64mp-ultra-high-res-camera-raspberry-pi\/\">order the Hawk-eye<\/a> now at ArduCam\u2019s webstore.
