Peacock has cancelled the <em>Saved By the Bell<\/em> sequel <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> so viewers won\u2019t be seeing a third season.<\/p>\n<p>A teen comedy series, the <em>Saved By the Bell<\/em> TV show is a continuation of the Saturday morning sitcom that ran on NBC in the 1990s for four seasons and 86 episodes. Developed by Tracey Wigfield and created by Sam Bobrick, this new incarnation stars Haskiri Velazquez, Mitchell Hoog, Josie Totah, Alycia Pascual-Pe\u00f1a, Belmont Cameli, Dexter Darden, John Michael Higgins, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, and Mario Lopez. Joining Lauren and Lopez from the original cast are Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Lark Voorhies, and Ed Alonzo in recurring roles. <span id=\"more-130041\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the new series, when California governor Zack Morris (Gosselaar) gets into hot water for closing too many underfunded high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the most well-funded schools in the state \u2013 including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the privileged Bayside kids (who never have a problem that can\u2019t be solved in twenty-two minutes) a much-needed dose of reality.<\/p>\n<p>The new incarnation of <em>Saved By the Bell<\/em> debuted in November 2020 and the second season was released last November. Over the course of the two seasons, 20 episodes were produced.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/05\/saved-by-the-bell-canceled-peacock-1235016465\/\">Deadline<\/a>, the cast and crew were informed that they wouldn\u2019t be making a third season yesterday. \u201cWe are so proud to have been the home of the next iteration of <em>Saved by the Bell<\/em> for both new and OG fans. <em>Saved by the Bell<\/em> has been a cultural mainstay for more than 30 years and the new series, led by Tracey Wigfield\u2019s superfan enthusiasm and signature witty humor, seamlessly continued the show\u2019s legacy, all while allowing more audiences to feel seen.
