The latest change occurred weeks after the company paused hiring for lower-level engineer positions.<\/p>\n<p>The social media giant \u2014 which is attempting to reinvent itself as a metaverse company after a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of data privacy and user safety scandals \u2014 said it has no current plans to conduct layoffs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe regularly re-evaluate our talent pipeline according to our business needs and in light of the expense guidance given for this earnings period, we are slowing its growth accordingly,\u201d a Meta spokesperson told The Post. \u201cHowever, we will continue to grow our workforce to ensure we focus on long term impact.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meta representatives confirmed the hiring pause weeks after executives gave a revenue forecast for its current quarter that fell short of Wall Street\u2019s expectations.
