The organization predominantly features former NBA stars in a three-on-three format as opposed to the regular five-on-five basketball <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s. <\/p>\n<p>Last month the BIG3 launched a new ownership model for the league which consists of selling tokenized stakes in each of the 12 teams. There are 1000 NFTs in total allocated to each team, with 25 \u201cFire\u201d NFTs worth $25,000 a pop, and 975 \u201cGold\u201d NFTs at $5,000 each. <\/p>\n<p>On May. 4, MyDoge wallet co-founder Bill Lee tweeted at Ice Cube saying \u201cif ya dig DOGE, me and the DogeArmy will take one as well,\u201d in reference to a previous post from Ice Cube announcing that Snoop Dogg was buying two teams. <\/p>\n<p>Ice Cube\u00a0 then replied with \u201ccome on wit it Bill, you know i\u2019m down with the DogeArmy.\u201d <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Come on wit it Bill, you know I\u2019m down with the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/DogeArmy?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#DogeArmy<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/d9C1TzS4ff\">https:\/\/t.co\/d9C1TzS4ff<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ice Cube (@icecube) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/icecube\/status\/1521671107723493376?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 4, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nWhile it is unclear how \u201cdown\u201d with the DogeArmy Ice Cube actually is, the BIG3 promptly <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/mydoge-chairman-bill-lee-purchases-big3-teams-fire-tiers-in-historic-dogecoin-transaction-301539395.html\">fired<\/a> out a press release on the same day announcing that Lee had purchased all 25 Fire NFTs for the \u201cAliens\u201d team via DOGE.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cincredible and historical\u201d transaction as described by Ice Cube was worth $625,000 or roughly 4.86 million DOGE, with the BIG3 also calling it the \u201clargest commercial transaction in history\u201d of DOGE. <\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Tumbleweeds blow through Coinbase NFT on its first day: Just $75K in volume<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Fire NFTs represent the higher end of ownership and utility benefits, such as game management, voting rights and intellectual property\/licensing rights for team logos, names and merchandise. This is of course, despite the fact that some ape and owl projects have built utility for hodlers, and is pretty lofty rhetoric for a man primarily working on developing wallets for a memecoin that was created as a joke.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;While others are buying NFT images of apes and owls, I believe that NFTs with utility are the next frontier.
