Russell in Hollywood at a \u201cNetflix Is a Joke\u201d event on Wednesday evening for a conversation about the iconic satirical spy comedy, according to the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/mike-myers-the-pentaverate-netflix-joke-interview-1235141439\/\">Hollywood Reporter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSilver Linings Playbook\u201d director, 63, noted how several of Myers\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> have splurged out memorable music, including Madonna\u2019s \u201cBeautiful Stranger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The chat then shifted to Beyonc\u00e9, who made her film debut as Foxxy Cleopatra in the Jay Roach flick.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian-born funnyman stated that everyone on set \u201cfell in love with her.\u201d Myers also joked that costar Michael Caine had trouble pronouncing the Grammy winner\u2019s name and left off the \u201c\u00e9.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNobody wanted to correct him,\u201d Myers said, adding that he also introduced the \u201cDreamgirls\u201d star to Led Zeppelin.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/austin-powers-beyonce-73.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"AUSTIN POWERS IN GOLDMEMBER, Beyonce Knowles, Mike Myers, 2002  (c) New Line Cinema. A sequel, \u201cAustin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me,\u201d dropped in 1999 with the third arriving in theaters three years later. <\/p>\n<p>At the comedy event, Myers also discussed how \u201cSNL\u201d boss Lorne Michaels wanted to recruit him for a remake of the 1967 Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft classic, \u201cThe Graduate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said, \u2018I don\u2019t think that\u2019s a good idea.\u2019\u00a0\u2018The Graduate\u2019\u00a0doesn\u2019t need to be remade \u2014 it\u2019s a perfect film. A little man should not stand in a great man\u2019s shoes,\u201d he said. Instead, he pitched Michaels the idea for his 1992 comedy\u00a0\u201cWayne\u2019s World.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Michaels] said, \u2018Write it.\u2019 He\u2019s a genius.
