Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>pers who perform at a Los Angeles topless bar is planning to form a union after walking out on the job to protest work conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The strippers, who routinely <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear at Star Garden Topless Dive Bar in North Hollywood, voted to unionize in late March, according to BuzzFeed <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If successful, they would operate as an independent entity under the auspices of Strippers United, which describes itself as a \u201cdiverse and inclusive community of strippers\u201d seeking to \u201cdismantle whorephobia and decriminalize sex work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Strippers United is federally recognized by the National Labor Relations Board.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, Star Garden strippers asked management to recognize their union \u2014 just weeks after walking out on the job to protest work conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The strippers also <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CcbCZtgPBUi\/\">filed complaints with California authorities<\/a> alleging that the club is guilty of several safety violations, including broken glass, furniture with bed bugs, infestation of rats and cockroaches, rusty nails protruding on stage, and white substances falling from the ceiling.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/star-garden-37.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"The exotic dancers said they are unionizing in hopes of improving work conditions.\" class=\"wp-image-22169628\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/star-garden-37.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1536 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/star-garden-37.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/star-garden-37.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>The exotic dancers said they are unionizing in hopes of improving work conditions.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\"><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>\/@UnionDrip<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Exotic dancers at Star Garden have for months chafed at what they say are inadequate working conditions at the San Fernando Valley establishment.<\/p>\n<p>In March, a customer recorded video of a topless dancer at the club and then refused to delete it \u2014 a violation of the club\u2019s policy, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uscannenbergmedia.com\/2022\/04\/13\/star-garden-strippers-protest-working-conditions\/\">according to USC Annenberg Media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When one of the dancers complained to management, she was fired, according to the report.
