To be specific, is there a chance at an eventual spin-off?<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>, we do think that cultivating these sort of projects is difficult. You want to find an angle, for example, that feels different than the show you\u2019re already watching. After all, it really would just be\u00a0<em>Ozark\u00a0<\/em>season 5 otherwise. Meanwhile, there\u2019s another component here in that you don\u2019t want to take away the legacy of the show you already watched. Prequels are always possible, but a lot of them just feel inconsequential.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest issue we have with an\u00a0<em>Ozark\u00a0<\/em>spin-off is (spoiler alert from the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> finale) that Ruth was probably one of the best candidates, but Julia Garner\u2019s character is now dead. We\u2019re pretty sure that forces the writers and producers to think of something else.<\/p>\n<p>For the time being, nothing is confirmed insofar as something more h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ening down the road. Yet, you can rest assured that there are some conversations happening all about it. Speaking to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tvline.com\/2022\/05\/07\/ozark-spinoff-netflix-new-series-premise-chris-mundy\/\">TVLine<\/a>, here is what executive producer Chris Mundy had to say:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cIt\u2019s definitely something that people have talked about a bunch \u2026 There\u2019s nothing definitive. We\u2019re lucky that people seem to really like the show so there\u2019s obviously going to be some interest there \u2026 There are still ways to stay inside the show and revisit things. I\u2019m sure people probably would\u2019ve been happier if Ruth was out there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t sound like anything is altogether imminent here; instead, it feels like this is probably a great conversation to revisit in a few months!
