The Death Row owner and longtime Laker superfan is taking his love of hoops to another level thanks to his relationship with his Mt. Westmore group mate Ice Cube.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2022\/05\/06\/snoop-dogg-big3-team-ice-cube\/\">TMZ Hip Hop<\/a><\/em>, Snoop, along with PayPal co-founder Ken Howery, spent $625,000 to purchase an ownership stake in the Bivouac, a BIG3 team which went winless during its 2021 campaign due to injuries. Cube took to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> on April 23 to tease the announcement of Snoop\u2019s desire to become an owner of more than one team and urged others to join in on the expansion of his basketball league and Snoop followed through on his desire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m in here with the big Snoop D-O-Double-G,\u201d Cube said backstage with Snoop. \u201cIt\u2019s that BIG3 owner shit, goin\u2019 down. In the process, several classic Death Row Records were pulled from streaming platforms, prompting fans to be vocal about their displeasure with the move.<\/p>\n<p>While his BIG3 ownership run will begin when the new season kicks off on June 18, those close to the Death Row family have saluted his evolution from being on the label to owning the brand outright. In a recent interview with <em>HipHopDX<\/em>, The D.O.C. remarked about Snoop\u2019s endeavors and why it\u2019s a good thing for Hip Hop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m proud of Snoop and everything he\u2019s accomplished and all the things that he\u2019s going to do,\u201d he says. \u201cAnd every moment of his adult life, he is still showing me what it means to be a great guy and great human being.
