According to Jim Clifton, CEO of pollster <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gallup.com\/home.aspx\">Gallup<\/a>, the majority of workers want to return at least some of the time. The reason? To collaborate, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a>ize and make important decisions alongside co-workers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe [office] building becomes an event center for you, and a collaboration center ,\u201d he said in a podcast conversation with Gallup editor Mohamed Younis. \u201cBecause if you\u2019ve got something really hard you want to work on with me, you need to come and draw it on a board for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s also the conclusion of the CEOs of the companies we reached out to when we asked them about their return-to-office plans. The big differentiator? Most are leaving the choice about how and when they want to come to work up to their employees.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what we learned about what firms are doing to keep their employees h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Making_the_office_space_irresistible\"><\/span><strong>Making the office space irresistible<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When chief people officer Loreal Torres surveyed the staffers at<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/Vested.co\"> Vested<\/a> about returning to the workplace, she got an answer not commonly heard in the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeventy to 80% said they\u2019d prefer to come in,\u201d she said, adding that they wanted the freedom to come and go as they please. For this financial marketing and communications agency, it meant rethinking their setup.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/at-work6.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"Vertical garden as greeting in the modern office\" class=\"wp-image-22183148\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/at-work6.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/at-work6.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/at-work6.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Some businesses are trying new creative ways to make returning to the office appealing to workers. <\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When they opened their Union Square-based offices last fall, the workers who came in loved what they saw \u2014 a dozen desks, round and long tables, banquettes and sofas, three conference rooms, a huge kitchen filled with coffee and snacks and swinging chairs at the entrance, which some employees use when talking on the phone.<\/p>\n<p>While most workers show up a day at a time, or even just a few hours to meet and then go home, Torres recently had her entire HR team in for a week for yearly planning.<br \/>Even so, \u201cour meetings are set up with a Zoom or Google Meet,\u201d she said, enabling participation among people outside the office.<\/p>\n<p>Office manager Joanna Barragan was the first to return. \u201cI was happy to be back,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Think_outside_the_box\"><\/span><strong>Think outside the box<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Adam Lyons, CEO of Texas-based <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thesmartblueprint.com\/\">S.M.A.R.T. I set up our offices there,\u201d said Lyons. \u201cI put in a kitchen and a hot tub, built a gym, a library and a hangout space.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With 80 chickens and 20 cows, his employees could enjoy fresh eggs and milk while observing the rules of social isolation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted us to stay connected, beyond Whats-App and video,\u201d said Lyons, adding that now that working side-by-side is considered safe, \u201che wants the ranch to be \u201ca fun place to come, not a place you have to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>S.M.A.R.T. Blueprint also provides its workers with a hot breakfast and lunch and reimburses his lower-paid workers for their commute.<\/p>\n<p>Eve Shalakhova, a vice president at the company, said that the solution works well for her.<br \/>\u201cIt\u2019s very enticing to come here,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The setup also works for Farhad Irani, chief technology officer. \u201cNothing compares to having access to a beautiful ranch while you\u2019re at work,\u201d he said. \u201cI often take walks throughout the day, pet animals, and head right back to work.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Offering_something_for_everyone\"><\/span><strong>Offering something for everyone<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With her company focused on employee retention, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.calibercorporate.com\/\">Caliber Corporate Advisers<\/a> CEO Grace Keith Rodriguez had an interesting problem on her hands. Some staffers had sent her e-mails saying they wanted an office to work from, while others said they would prefer not to commute.<\/p>\n<p>Rodriguez, who had moved to Rockland County and had a baby during the pandemic, fell in the latter camp. When the plan was announced, \u201ceveryone was ecstatic,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle W. Kempf, a senior director at the firm, likes the solution because of the possibilities it offers. Although he\u2019s perfectly comfortable working from his apartment in Chinatown, he likes to go into an office to join his co-workers now and then, adding that it \u201cmakes other things possible, like going out for drinks after work.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dont_force_the_issue\"><\/span><strong>Don\u2019t force the issue<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>No one needs to tell Liza Streiff that it can be hard to work from home. The CEO of financial-training firm Knopman Marks Financial opened a satellite office in Montclair, NJ, during the height of the pandemic because she couldn\u2019t get anything done with three small kids around.<\/p>\n<p>They chose to maintain an office near Bryant Park, although no one is forced to use it.<br \/>\u201cPeople just enjoy having a space to go to,\u201d said Streiff. \u201cWhen they have a choice, it\u2019s a lot different than having to go in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Streiff said that the company must be intentional about maintaining bonds and how everyone collaborates. To work toward that, Streiff hosted a big barbecue at her home in Glen Ridge, NJ. The company has since held other events like a meet-and-greet for its interns last summer.<\/p>\n<p>Jane Riccardi, a 26-year-old onboarding coordinator who lives in Tribeca, has been back to the office several times since it reopened.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI went mostly for a change of scenery,\u201d she said, adding that \u201cit was really nice to see people.\u201d\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
