\n Everybody loves\u00a0pizza.<\/p>\n

A pizza\u00a0delivery driver\u00a0in Alaska was woken up in the early morning hours\u00a0to the sounds of a bear wrecking his car. App<\/a>arently, the vehicle\u00a0still smelled like pizza, and the bear, unaware that there was no actual food inside, was hoping to find a snack.<\/p>\n

Andrew Fairchild works for Juneau Pizza in the state\u2019s capital,\u00a0Juneau Empire\u00a0reports. Fairchild claims he\u00a0was woken up at 3 a.m. Friday\u00a0while the\u00a0bear was rummaging through his car \u2013\u00a0and inadvertently honking the horn. Fairchild\u2019s neighbors also gathered around, curious to find out the source of the commotion.<\/p>\n

Since the car is used for pizza deliveries, Fairchild thinks he knows what happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it was the delicious smell of the pizza that drove the bear to the point where he could not resist the urge to go into the car,\u201d Fairchild said.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s pretty totaled on the inside. The seat belt was ripped completely out. The panel where the stereo is ripped off.\u201d<\/p>\n

The bear\u00a0eventually\u00a0freed itself from\u00a0the car, at which point it\u00a0briefly circled back before wandering away. Authorities arrived later, but were not able to locate the bear.<\/p>\n

The pizza-hungry visitor left his mark, however. Photos of\u00a0Fairchild\u2019s car show extensive damage to the seats, the upholstery and even the door paneling. Fortunately, Fairchild said his local auto insurer covers bear incidents.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
