Wade,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/opinion\/white-house\/3480825-white-house-tacitly-endorses-intimidation-of-supreme-court-justices\/\">thunders Joe Concha at The Hill<\/a>. The lefty group Ruth Sent Us published the addresses of six justices, including several with \u201cchildren at home.\u201d Pushed on whether that\u2019s \u201cextreme,\u201d Biden spokeswoman Jen Psaki replied, \u201cI don\u2019t have an official US government position on where people protest.\u201d Federal law prohibits \u201cpickets or parades\u201d with \u201cintent of influencing any judge\u201d if it\u2019s \u201cin or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge.\u201d Says Concha: \u201cPerhaps another reporter in the daily briefing can circle back on this\u201d: \u201cBy not condemning it,\u201d Team Biden is \u201ctacitly <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roving the intimidation of justices at their homes.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Urban_beat_Gentrifying_Fare_Evasion\"><\/span><strong>Urban beat: Gentrifying Fare Evasion<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cAs more transit riders who can afford to pay fares jump them instead, will US cities step up efforts to increase collections?\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/the-gentrification-of-fare-evasion\">wonders Dorothy Moses Schulz at City Journal<\/a>. We\u2019re seeing \u201cthe gentrification of fare evasion,\u201d with Metropolitan Transportation Authority head Janno Lieber complaining that \u201cpeople in designer clothes, carrying $7 lattes,\u201d are \u201cwaltzing through emergency gates\u201d in tony neighborhoods. Lieber, notes Schulz, wants to encourage payment through \u201ceducation\u201d and \u201cconsider technological, design, and personnel solutions to limit evasion\u201d \u2014 i.e., \u201coptions other than citing, summonses, or arresting those who fail to pay the fare.\u201d But refusing \u201cto enforce the law\u201d is \u201ca recipe for declining fare revenue, increasing fare evasion, and skyrocketing crime.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Libertarian_Do_Roe_Backers_Understand_It\"><\/span><strong>Libertarian: Do Roe Backers Understand It?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Polls suggest some people who support Roe v. Wade \u201cdo not fully understand what it entails,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/reason.com\/2022\/05\/04\/do-americans-who-support-roe-v-wade-understand-its-implications\/\">argues Reason\u2019s Jacob Sullum<\/a>. In a Gallup survey, 63% said the Supreme Court should not overturn Roe, but \u201c54% thought their own states should pass a law banning abortion after 15 weeks\u201d \u2014 the exact issue in the case that generated the draft ruling. The \u201ckey question\u201d is \u201cnot what most Americans think about abortion\u201d but \u201cwhether the Constitution guarantees a right to abortion\u201d or \u201cimposes limits on state regulation of abortion.\u201d The leaked opinion and oral arguments indicate \u201cmost of the justices think it does not.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_the_right_What_Liberals_Wrought\"><\/span><strong>From the right: What Liberals Wrought<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cConservatism will look like Friedrich Nietzsche meets Beavis and Butt-Head if things continue,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/spectatorworld.com\/topic\/liberalism-gave-hard-new-right\/\">warns Daniel McCarthy at Spectator World<\/a>. \u201cConservatism draws its strength from four forces \u2014 Christianity; heartland patriotism; the philosophy of Edmund Burke, Adam Smith, and the Founding Fathers; and revulsion against the left.\u201d But as \u201creligious identification falls and heartland patriotism is redefined as hate, philosophical conservatives can only complain.\u201d Progressives have \u201ca near monopoly on cultural power and hegemony in corporate America.\u201d Yet conservatives aren\u2019t disappearing in politics, with the GOP sure to make gains this year. Why? \u201cThe more power the left gains, the more obvious its failures become, and the more it gives rein to its despotic desires, the more Americans rebel.\u201d Eventually \u201ctheir plight will be articulated by new philosophers, who will offer prescriptions for a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a> order no longer in fact grounded in Christianity or local affection. Don\u2019t blame Donald Trump \u2014 this hard new right is the result of liberalism.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conservative_Public_Not_With_Dems_on_Abortion\"><\/span><strong>Conservative: Public Not With Dems on Abortion<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cDemocrats are unlikely to see the surge of angry abortion rights voters they hope for on midterm Election Day,\u201d as the Supreme Court leak \u201cis mostly a desperate, opportunistic attempt to deflect attention from the Democrats\u2019 biggest political challenge this year,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/restoring-america\/fairness-justice\/the-public-disagrees-with-pelosi-on-abortion\">predicts the Washington Examiner\u2019s Hugo Gurdon<\/a>. \u201cPresident Joe Biden and the Democrats have turned a strong economy into a damaged and worrying one.
