On Saturday, the 57-year-old ex-daytime diva sat down for a new interview with <strong>Fat Joe<\/strong> in which she explained why she wouldn\u2019t be checking in to watch Sherri\u2019s version of the show!<\/p>\n<p>At one point during the long chat, Wendy told the rapper:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI won\u2019t be watching her because I know what she\u2019ll be doing and that\u2019s not really my thing \u2026 you know what I\u2019m saying? Being honest <em>and<\/em> polite, Sherri said she completely understood why Wendy doesn\u2019t want to tune in:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI did hear Wendy say she will not watch me on the new show. And that\u2019s OK. You know, I understand. I\u2019m not mad at Wendy. She\u2019s going through a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The new TV host also added her belief that \u201ceveryone should be praying for Wendy\u201d after the last few months of controversies, including TV tensions and reported health issues.<\/p>\n<p>Sherri added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m concerned. I\u2019m really truly concerned for her because I don\u2019t feel like there\u2019s anybody over there protecting her. And it\u2019s really hard when there\u2019s no protection around you \u2026 But I\u2019m not mad at Wendy because she won\u2019t watch my show.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>One IG Live commenter then asked the <em>Call Your Mother<\/em> actress\u00a0whether she and Williams had been friends before this talk show situation.<\/p>\n<p>Sherri replied that the duo <em>had<\/em> previously been \u201cvery friendly\u201d with each other when Sherri was on\u00a0<em>The View<\/em>, but they really didn\u2019t have a super-close connection:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe don\u2019t run in the same circles because I live in LA and Wendy lives in New York. \u2026 Sometimes stuff doesn\u2019t pan out as far as friendships.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Makes sense! That\u2019s the way it goes sometimes.<\/p>\n<p>Still, Sherri wanted to make very clear that she was hoping for the best with Wendy\u2019s future health and wellness:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cShe\u2019s not well.
