alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Camila Cabello is continuing to keep it real when it comes to her mental health.<\/p>\n<p>In a new <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/camila-cabello-talks-mental-health-familia-real-friends-1350514\/\">Rolling Stone<\/a> interview, the \u201cPsychofreak\u201d songstress opened up about how being completely honest on her new album \u201cFamilia\u201d led her to a path of mental healing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt just made me so much more open and vulnerable in my friendships, and then in my performances, and then in my interviews,\u201d the 25-year-old singer said. \u201cIt had this domino effect on every other area of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cabello, who is Latina, said openly discussing mental health in some cultures can still be seen as \u201cweak,\u201d which is another reason she\u2019s become so vocal.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving these conversations \u2014 especially in the Latin community \u2014 I feel like I want to talk about it more in Spanish and with that community too,\u201d she continued. \u201cEven talking about it with my family, it\u2019s so groove thanks to therapy, the album and a newfound sense of self after her breakup with fellow pop star Shawn Mendes, 23.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>\u201cThere are different degrees to which people struggle with mental health, but I think, whether it\u2019s life-changing or life-saving, when you bottle that s\u2013t up, and you pretend, it eats away at your health,\u201d she told the rock magazine. <\/p>\n<p>The former Fifth Harmony star \u2014 who was a musical guest on \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d last month \u2014 announced Monday that she will headline the opening ceremony of the 2022 UEFA Champions League final in Paris on May 28.\n
