No. Are they running the team? James reportedly had a heavy hand in recruiting Westbrook, who had one of the worst offensive performances of his career in his debut season with Los Angeles. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s normal when you have a top player or players you bounce things off of them, I think that\u2019s smart business,\u201d Buss said about James. \u201cI want him to feel confident in the team, that we have the pieces to win a championship. He has to be happy. \u2026 I want to make sure that he\u2019s happy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Buss still believes the Lakers can win another championship with James and Davis leading the charge. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s no reason for me to think we can\u2019t win with them,\u201d she said. \u201cSomething that I learned from Phil Jackson is that there\u2019s always a path to success. \u2026 Sometimes it might be a little bit harder than other times, \u2026 but you have to see the ability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Buss expressed that she decided to do the interview after being \u201cin the background for too much\u201d amid the Lakers\u2019 struggles this season \u2014 in which the James-led Hall of Fame roster failed to make the play-in tournament, let alone the playoffs. <\/p>\n<p>Last week, rumblings around the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> saw personalities, including Stephen A. I\u2019ve got to make it better. \u201cThis last year was extremely disappointing \u2026 it was hugely disappointing. I feel like we let down Laker fans, and don\u2019t want to do that again, and we\u2019ve got to get it right.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Last month,\u00a0James addressed his contact situation\u00a0in his end-of-season press conference \u2014 the same day the Lakers officially\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/lakers\/releases\/lakers-part-ways-with-frank-vogel-4-11-22\">parted ways with their head coach, Frank Vogel<\/a> \u2014 and said he had yet to discuss the matter due to the NBA\u2019s collective bargaining agreement.\n                        <\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
