EMTs were called to the scene but were unable to revive the 60-year-old.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after finding Joseph\u2019s body, investigators learned the gruesome reason why he was in the backyard in the first place: the man was burying a body wr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed in bin bags in a newly dug hole. Officials identified the body as Joseph\u2019s partner, <strong>Patricia Dent<\/strong>, who lived at the same home on Tanglewood Drive, according to a statement from Edgefield County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Father Killed On Freeway Picking Up Toy His Child Threw Out Car Window<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Edgefield County Sheriff said a post-mortem found that Joseph strangled the 65-year-old inside the home, and that neighbors recalled seeing him digging a hole in the yard the day before.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said McKinnon then bound Dent and wrapped her in trash bags before putting her in the pit. It appeared he\u2019d nearly finished filling in the grave when he put down his spade, walked away, and collapsed from the cardiac event that caused his death.<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, the pair\u2019s neighbors are shocked by the killing. <strong>Dawn Howanietz<\/strong>, who has been living a block up from where the bodies were found with her family for two years, told local station <strong>WJBF<\/strong> that she didn\u2019t know there was a danger to neighbors after the grim discovery was made.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Friend Who Blac Chyna Allegedly Assaulted Following Kardashian Trial Spills All \u2014 New Shady Details About Their Fight!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She lamented:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe have no idea and that\u2019s what we\u2019re asking about at least let us know that it\u2019s something they have in control or don\u2019t have in control do we have to make sure everything is locked up tight watch our dogs or our animals we got a farmer back there too you know it\u2019s scary.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Meanwhile, Patricia\u2019s twin sister, <strong>Pamela Briggs<\/strong>, told <strong>Fox Carolina<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI would say a nightmare, and I want to wake up, and it\u2019s a dream. I know it\u2019s not.
