Francesca slips into the central role for her shot at love in the sixth book, <em>When He Was Wicked<\/em>, which would presumably serve as the sixth season of Bridgerton if Netflix takes the series that far. Netflix previously renewed <em>Bridgerton<\/em> for seasons 3 and 4 based on the success of the first two seasons. Reviews for the series have been pretty strong and viewership has also been very high. Season 2 alone surpassed 193 million viewing hours in it opening weekend, which was the highest ever for any English-language series on Netflix. The streamer is infamous for canceling shows too soon, but if <em>Bridgerton<\/em> maintains its popularity throughout seasons 3 and 4, then this could end up becoming one to go the distance.<\/p>\n<p><em>Bridgerton<\/em> can be found streaming on Netflix.
