With a myriad of lawsuits piling up, another one has been made public on Thursday (May 12) by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2022\/05\/12\/travis-scott-woman-pregnancy-miscarriage-lawsuit-astroworld\/\"><em>TMZ<\/em>. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>La Flame and Live Nation are among the defendants in the lawsuit where Astroworld Festival attendee\u00a0Shanazia Williamson claims her injuries suffered at the deadly November festival that killed 10 people resulted in her having a miscarriage.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Travis Scott is being sued by a woman who claims she suffered injuries so severe at Astroworld, they resulted in a miscarriage. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/yi3f2mDcpw\">https:\/\/t.co\/yi3f2mDcpw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 TMZ (@TMZ) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TMZ\/status\/1524863098758348831?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 12, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>According to the suit obtained by <em>TMZ<\/em>, Williamson alleges that Travis Scott and Live Nation\u2019s \u201cfailure to plan, design, manage, operate, staff, and supervise the event was a direct and proximate cause of Shanazia\u2019s injuries and death of her and [her partner\u2019s] unborn child.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Williamson filed the lawsuit shortly after the November 5 festival claiming injuries to her shoulder, back, chest and leg while being trampled by the crowd surge.<\/p>\n<p>She then added \u201cwrongful death\u201d into the suit about six weeks later before 2021 expired. It\u2019s unclear how far she was into her pregnancy, but Texas law states that it doesn\u2019t matter what trimester of pregnancy she\u2019s in, they can still successfully sue for wrongful death.<\/p>\n<p>Scoremore Holdings, ASM Global and Harris Co. Sports &amp; Convention are also named as defendants in the lawsuit alongside Scott and Live Nation.<\/p>\n<p>Travis made his return to the stage earlier this month with his first official public gig since the tragedy at Miami\u2019s E11EVEN.
