The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this week and helped propel Hendrix\u2019s ninth LP score the biggest sales week of 2022, opening with 222,000 album-equivalent units.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Atlanta r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er, a big part of what makes \u201cWAIT FOR U\u201d such a special song is Tems\u2019 sultry voice. On Thursday (May 12), Future hopped on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> to show his appreciation for the Nigerian songstress\u2019 harmonic addition to the track.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSoon as I heard the @temsbaby sample over @atljacobbeatz Instantly connected to my soul,\u201d he tweeted. \u201c@temsbaby VOICE IS AMAZING.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cEven tho wait for u is a sample and not an original recording I still put Featuring @temsbaby if u wasn\u2019t familiar with her work. Even though she\u2019s sampled on the song, the 26-year-old earned her first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to Future listing her as a feature on \u201cWAIT FOR U.\u201d It\u2019s just her third Hot 100 hit following Wizkid\u2019s \u201cEssence\u201d (No. 15) and Drake\u2019s \u201cFountains\u201d (No. 26).<\/p>\n<p>With <em>I NEVER LIKED YOU<\/em> and \u201cWAIT FOR U,\u201d Future is just the second rapper in history to simultaneously debut atop the Billboard 200 and Hot 100.
