However, the project is now making a resurgence, and it might be worth your time to try Thunderbird.<\/p>\n<p>Thunderbird is a cross-platform desktop email <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lication, similar to Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail, with excellent support for accounts like Gmail, Outlook\/Hotmail, and Yahoo Mail. It also has a built-in calendar and contacts book, which can also synchronize with cloud services (such as Google Calendar), and the app has limited support for live messaging.<\/p>\n<p>The Thunderbird team revealed its plans for version 102 in a blog post earlier this month, with the update expected to arrive by the end of June 2022. The address book will have a refreshed design, with related information divided into cards for easier reading. Thunderbird is also working on a new (optional) \u2018Spaces Toolbar\u2019, which acts like a tab bar for all of the app\u2019s features, similar to Outlook on the web. There\u2019s even <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mozthunderbird\/status\/1522212790592696329\">an Android app in development<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mozilla originally created Thunderbird alongside the Firefox web browser, with both applications serving as a replacement for the older <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www-archive.mozilla.org\/products\/mozilla1.x\/\">Mozilla Suite<\/a>. Mozilla moved the project to a new for-profit corporate entity in 2020, known as MZLA Technologies Corporation, and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ghacks.net\/2022\/05\/15\/thunderbirds-donation-drive-revenue-rose-21-in-2021\/\">user donations increased by 21% in 2021<\/a>. The new structure and increased funding has led to a hiring spree \u2014 Thunderbird said \u201cwe\u2019ve been rapidly expanding our team\u201d in the blog post \u2014 which means faster development for the email client.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the exciting improvements haven\u2019t been rolled out yet, but now is a great time to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thunderbird.net\/\">give Thunderbird a try<\/a>, especially if you\u2019re tired of the resource-heavy Electron desktop mail apps (like <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sparkmailapp.com\/\">Spark<\/a>) that have increasingly become more popular.
