Monday, blasting the plane-maker\u2019s \u201cvery poor management\u201d and calling for a shakeup at the top.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cAt the moment, we think Boeing management is running around like headless chickens, not able to sell aircraft, and then even the aircraft they deliver, they\u2019re not able to deliver them on time,\u201d\u00a0O\u2019Leary said on a post-earnings conference call with analysts, according to a FactSet tran<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a>. <\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       <strong>More:<\/strong>  Ryanair expects to return to profitability in FY 2023<\/p>\n<p>Dublin-based Ryanair, Europe\u2019s largest budget airline, has ordered hundreds of planes from Boeing, but deliveries have been delayed, forcing the airline to scale back its schedule.  Last fall, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/business\/transport-and-tourism\/ryanair-ends-talks-with-boeing-over-max-10-order-1.4666094\" class=\"icon none\">Ryanair ended negotiations with Boeing<\/a> over an order for Max 10 aircraft over a price dispute.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Leary made it clear Monday that he blames Boeing. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe management of Boeing in Seattle is very poor,\u201d O\u2019Leary said Monday\u2019s call. \u201cWe\u2019re their largest customer but they need a reboot or a boot up the ass somewhere in Seattle and hopefully, [CEO Dave] Calhoun will deliver it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Leary said Boeing had agreed to deliver a number of 737 Max airliners by this spring, but failed to come through.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s probably cost us about 600,000, 800,000 seats in May and June, which is disappointing and still unexplained by Boeing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Leary was particularly frustrated by the delay because he said the planes were already manufactured years ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll you had to kind of do is put petrol in them and fly them to Dublin. Really, I don\u2019t understand why it\u2019s taking you \u2013 you are taking two or three month delays on that,\u201d he said. \u201cBut it is redolent of, I think, a very poor management performance in Seattle both in competing for market share against Airbus and in just honoring your commitments in delivering the planes you promised to deliver.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"cx-membership-tile\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cSo, Boeing need a management reboot in Seattle and either the existing manager needs to up its <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> or they need to change the existing management,\u201d O\u2019Leary said. <\/p>\n<p>Still, he said Ryanair would be happy to work with Boeing\u2019s existing management, \u201cIf they get their s*** together. \u2026 but they need to bloody well improve on what they\u2019ve been delivering to us over the last 12 months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re a willing customer, but we\u2019re struggling with slow deliveries and an inability to do a deal on new aircraft despite the number of white tails that are sitting on the ground in Seattle,\u201d O\u2019Leary said. \u201cYou wonder what the hell their sales team have done for the last two years. And frankly, most of them seem to be sitting at home in their jim-jams working from home instead of out there selling planes to customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Boeing reported its deliveries slipped in April, and its shares have sunk since posting a big first-quarter earnings miss.
