rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ing service for fleet managers, but the vehicle can also be charged utilizing a standard 220V outlet that\u2019s found in most homes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SQUAD is headed by Robert Hoevers, CEO and former GM at A1GP Netherlands, and one of the initiators of the FIA Formula E. He also used to work as a sales and business development manager for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">solarEV maker, Lightyear<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is working on a long-range solar that could only need charging once a year.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This makes sense considering SQUAD\u2019s solar capabilities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Solar_car%E2%80%A6_in_the_Netherlands\"><\/span><strong>A Solar car\u2026 in the Netherlands?\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The SQUAD comes with a solar panel on it\u2019s roof. The solar panel can charge up to 12 miles (20 km) per day in Europe.
