Katrina Lane, a vice president of Twitter service, and Max Schmeiser, the head of data <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a>, all handed in their resignations, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-05-17\/twitter-loses-three-more-senior-employees-ahead-of-musk-takeover\">according to Bloomberg News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thankful for all of their hard work and leadership,\u201d a Twitter spokesperson told Bloomberg.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue to be focused on providing the very best experience to the people on Twitter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The departures come less than a week after Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal ousted two top executives \u2014 Kayvon Beykpour, the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> manager, and Bruce Falck, Twitter\u2019s head of revenue.<\/p>\n<p>Jay Sullivan, the head of consumer product, will take over Beykpour\u2019s position.<\/p>\n<p>Beykpour tweeted on Thursday that \u201cthis wasn\u2019t my decision\u201d and that Agrawal \u201casked me to leave after letting me know that he wants to take the team in a different direction.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"705\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/ilya-brown-twitter.jpg?w=705\" alt=\"Ilya Brown\" class=\"wp-image-22301478\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/ilya-brown-twitter.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1410 1410w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/ilya-brown-twitter.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1057 1057w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/ilya-brown-twitter.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=705 705w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/ilya-brown-twitter.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=352 352w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/ilya-brown-twitter.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 705px) 100vw, 705px\"\/><figcaption>Ilya Brown, a vice president of product management, submitted his resignation.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">@ilyabr0wn\/Twitter<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Falck also tweeted that he was \u201cfired\u201d by Agrawal. That tweet was later deleted.<\/p>\n<p>Agrawal cited the company\u2019s failure to hit growth and revenue targets for the firings.<\/p>\n<p>He also announced that Twitter would be instituting a hiring freeze as well as budget cuts, but had no plans to lay off workers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLeaders will continue making changes to their organizations to improve efficiencies as needed,\u201d Agrawal wrote in his note to employees.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Twitter\u2019s board of directors accepted Musk\u2019s $54.20-a-share buyout offer.<\/p>\n<p>But Musk in recent days has signaled that the deal could be off.
