Davis added that it was not an isolated incident \u2014 but the sort of disturbing occurrence that h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened repeatedly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew him for 10 years,\u201d said Davis, clad in a scarlet suit. \u201cI was maybe around 30 at the time, so it was a while ago \u2014 but what you have to realize is that those micro-aggressions happen all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The star \u2014 who earned an Oscar nomination for playing a maid in 2011\u2019s \u201cThe Help,\u201d a role Davis has <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/09\/12\/viola-davis-says-she-regrets-her-role-in-the-help\">said she regrets accepting<\/a> \u2014 also discussed how race typically plays a role in the projects that she isn\u2019t offered. \u201cA lot of it is based in race. It really is,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s be honest. If I had my same features and I were five shades lighter, it would just be a little bit different,\u201d Davis explained to the industry outlet. \u201cAnd if I had blond hair, blue eyes and even a wide nose, it would be even a little bit different than what it is now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decider.com\/2021\/07\/07\/shows-like-how-to-get-away-with-murder\/?_ga=2.80588631.1164982509.1652788214-324676655.1647863819\">\u201cHow To Get Away With Murder\u201d<\/a> alum continued, \u201cWe could talk about colorism. We could talk about race.
