A <strong>Major League Baseball<\/strong> reporter is recovering after suffering a one-in-a-million shot this week! <strong>Kelsey Wingert<\/strong> was working during the <strong>Colorado Rockies<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> on Monday when she was struck in the forehead with a \u201c95 MPH line drive\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>During Monday\u2019s game, <strong>Giants<\/strong> player <strong>Austin Slater<\/strong> hit a foul ball from Rockies pitcher<strong> Daniel Brad<\/strong> in the ninth inning, according to<em> Yahoo! Sports<\/em>, and it went flying into the stands near the first-base camera where Kelsey was reporting from.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: You WILL NOT Believe The Reason This Soccer Star Got Demoted!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <em>Farm to Fame<\/em> podcast host shared an update with fans on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a><\/strong> Wednesday, revealing:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cChecking in \u2013 Monday, I took a 95 MPH line drive to my head.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Thankfully, she had a lot of support from her bosses at <strong>AT&amp;T SportsNet Rocky Mountain<\/strong>, she continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe @Rockies &amp; @ATTSportsNetRM have treated me like family. Getting me treatment &amp; to the best hospital ASAP. I was at hospital for 5 hours w\/ <strong>David Woodman<\/strong> (GM of AT&amp;T SN), his wife, <strong>Paula<\/strong> &amp; my producer<strong> Alison Vigil<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Despite suffering a gnarly gash to the center of her forehead, she\u2019s miraculously doing very well otherwise, she continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI had [a] CT scan to check for internal bleeding\/fractures &amp; it came back clear. Thank God. I received internal &amp; external stitches. I\u2019ve been staying at my GM\u2019s house. I can\u2019t say enough about AT&amp;TSN &amp; the Rox. I\u2019ve never experienced support like this. Thank you for the prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Now, we\u2019re warning you right now \u2014 while this pic is post-medical attention, it\u2019s still pretty painful to see for the first time!<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I had CT scan to check for internal bleeding\/fractures &amp; it came back clear, Thank God. According to the outlet, in 2018 she suffered a fractured eye socket when she was struck by a line drive while standing in the camera past the <strong>Braves<\/strong>\u2018 first base dugout. She flew back to Atlanta, where she is based, on Wednesday night. The journalist is also keeping her fingers crossed that her scar won\u2019t be too noticeable for her upcoming wedding \u2014 just weeks away! She expressed:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c[Doctors] are hoping the scar won\u2019t be too bad for [my upcoming] wedding [to fianc\u00e9 <strong>Casey Linch<\/strong>]! I\u2019ve been sleeping at the Woodman\u2019s [sic] who have quickly become family. I can\u2019t say enough about how the network and organization has treated me. I\u2019ve never experienced anything like this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So, so scary! But we\u2019re glad she is doing well.
