Longtime cast members Kenan Thompson and Cecily Strong <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/pete-davidson-leaving-saturday-night-live-1235151419\/\">could also be<\/a> up in the air. <\/p>\n<p>A representative for Davidson was not available when contacted by phone and did not im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely respond to an emailed request for comment from The Post. Reps for NBC and \u201cSNL\u201d declined The Post\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Despite rumors that Davidson is in Italy f<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/05\/20\/kardashians-arrive-for-kourtney-and-travis-barkers-italy-wedding\/\">or the Kourtney Kardashian \u201cKravis\u201d wedding<\/a> with Travis Barker, insiders tell The Post he will definitely be on this week\u2019s \u201cSNL\u201d episode to bid farewell.<\/p>\n<p>Davidson, 28, has seemed less showcased in recent months, as he\u2019s been filming and lining up other projects. He has reportedly been filming a movie called \u201cThe Home\u201d throughout the season, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1321111\/the-real-reason-pete-davidson-is-absent-from-saturday-night-live-this-week\">E! News reported<\/a>. The streaming services even added a movie category with the same name to the platform after the sketch. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe King of Staten Island\u201d joined the legendary comedy show in 2014 as a relatively unknown 20-year-old. Kenan\u2019s, like, f\u2013kin\u2019 Karl Malone out there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And during the Season 46 finale last year, he even seemed wistful in a \u201cWeekend Update\u201d segment. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m very grateful to be here, and it\u2019s been an honor to grow up in front of you guys,\u201d he said to the live audience.<\/p>\n<p>He became a pop culture sensation in 2018 when he began dating, and eventually got engaged to, pop superstar Ariana Grande.
