But according to<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2022\/tv\/news\/daria-spinoff-jodie-cast-1235268100\/\"> Variety<\/a>, it looks like the spinoff is finally h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ening. The spinoff, simply titled <em>Jodie<\/em>, will be an animated film centering around Daria\u2019s friend and former classmate.<br \/>\n <!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #1! --><!-- No winning ad found for zone: Below First Paragraph! --><!-- No winning ad found for zone: mid intro! --><br \/>\nIn the original <em>Daria<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>, Jodie was a reoccurring character. Unlike most of the other students at Lawndale High, Jodie was a fellow intellectual and one of the only other kids that understood Daria\u2019s sense of humor. Her parents strived to have her be an achiever, so she was forced to be a member of multiple clubs in order to bulk up her college applications. Being one of the only black students, she was also utilized as a voice for black issues and thus was also seen doing volunteer work and extracurricular courses. Every time I would see Jodie, I would sit up straighter and I\u2019d always want more. Jodie herself, voiced by Jessica Cyndee Jackson in Daria, will now be voiced by Tracy Ellis Ross (<em>Black-ish<\/em>). Joining Ross will be Cole Escola (<em>Tuca &amp; Bertie<\/em>) as Ryan, Pamela Adlon (<em>King of the Hill<\/em>) as Jocelyn Light, William Jackson Harper (<em>The Good Place<\/em>) as Mack, Jojo T. Gibbs (<em>Good Trouble<\/em>) as Tiffany, Alex Moffat (<em>Ralph Breaks the Internet<\/em>) as Barry, Zosia Mamet (<em>The Flight Attendant<\/em>) as Greta, Dermot Mulroney (<em>Shameless<\/em>) as Lionel, Kofi Siriboe (<em>Queen Sugar<\/em>) as Raymond, Kal Penn (<em>House<\/em>) as Sandeep, Dulc\u00e9 Sloan (<em>The Great North<\/em>) as Cas, and Helene Yorke (<em>The Other Two<\/em>) as Nia. MTV Entertainment Studios will be producing the film. According to Edwards, the film will focus on a major turning point with the character, a theme that is all too familiar with former \u2018gifted\u2019 students.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n<em>\u201cWe\u2019re gonna see Jodie Landon, who used to be the perfect Black teen, come to a whole other environment and realize that she was the big fish in the small pond. And now she\u2019s a small fish in the ocean. It\u2019s about her just growing into being an adult in a different environment than Lawndale where we get to see the 360 degree, full, three-dimensional character.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #4! --><br \/>\nCurrently there is no <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> where the film will exactly premiere within the various realms of Paramount, but chances are high that it will be a Paramount+ feature. The streaming service has since found success in animation with the two <em>South Park<\/em> specials that centered around the COVID-19 pandemic.
