Our work ain\u2019t done yet but we\u2019re fighting for it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Blazers will clinch a spot in the play-in <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> with a win Thursday against the Nets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to come out with the same mentality,\u201d Lillard said. \u201cWe control our own destiny. That\u2019s the most important <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lillard joined Wilt Chamberlain as the only players with three 60-point games in a season. Coach Terry Stotts said his guard has been extra focused since missing two late free throws in a loss to the Clippers on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s showing a lot of resolve,\u201d Stotts said. \u201cNobody wanted to come into this bubble and make the playoffs more than Dame. We have one more game to go, but his leadership and his game speaks for itself. But he\u2019s bringing the team along with him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mTl6c2vlmW8?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;autohide=2&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent\" title=\"Video\" width=\"640\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Kristaps Porzingis scored 36 points before fouling out late in the game and Luka Doncic had 25 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds for the Mavericks, who will finish No. 7 in the West.<\/p>\n<p>Lillard made nine 3-pointers in his sixth 50-point game of the season. He\u2019s the 12th player in NBA history to score 50 points in back-to-back games after dropping 51 on the 76ers on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>He scored in every way imaginable, from well beyond the 3-point line, on blow-by drives, short jumpers and at the foul line. Lillard finished 17 of 32 from the floor and 9 of 17 from beyond the arc while making all 18 free throw attempts.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16122153\"><img alt=\"\" data- data- height=\"441\" width=\"662\"><\/img><figcaption><span>Damian Lillard<\/span><span>Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cDamian played incredible,\u201d Porzingis said. \u201cMade some unbelievable shots. Hats off to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His most remarkable shot came with less than 2 minutes remaining. With the Blazers down three, he launched a shot from 36 feet away that hit the back of the rim and bounced several feet above the top of the backboard before dropping through the net.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve never seen a shot like that \u2014 ever,\u201d said Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle. \u201cThat was unbelievable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After Porzingis fouled out, Lillard drew a double-team and dished to Haasan Whiteside for a dunk to put the Blazers up by two. Doncic split a pair of free throws to cut the lead to one with 40 seconds left.<\/p>\n<p>Lillard missed a fallaway jumper, and the Mavericks <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared to take the lead on Dorian Finney-Smith\u2019s 3-pointer from the corner, but Trey Burke was called for an illegal screen and officials waived off the basket.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know what to say,\u201d Doncic said. \u201cThey call what they see out there. Personally, on the last play, I don\u2019t think it was an offensive foul. Especially I don\u2019t think you call those fouls in that moment. They can make mistakes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Mavs were forced to foul CJ McCollum, who made two free throws to put the Blazers up by three with 3.9 left. Tim Hardaway Jr.\u2019s 3-pointer from the corner hit the side of the backboard as time expired.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe just kept saying keep our composure,\u201d Lillard said. \u201cWe knew the first team that came up with a few stops would win. It was going to come down to who wanted it more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The game featured the two leading scorers since the NBA restart, with Doncic entering averaging 33.4 points and Lillard 33. Lillard was hot from the start, scoring 25 in the first half as the Blazers took a 66-58 lead.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe problem was that he kept getting to the free throw line,\u201d Carlisle said. \u201cI haven\u2019t looked at the film yet as far as whether the calls were accurate or whatever. But great players have a knack for getting the whistle to blow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the end, we were unable to keep him off the free throw line.
