Federal prosecutors allege they are both part of a \u201ccriminal street gang\u201d called Young Slime Life (YSL), responsible for numerous crimes.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday (May 23), Gunna was back in court where Judge Glanville denied bond once again and set his trial for January 2023. As for Young Thug, he\u2019ll also remain behind bars for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>WSB-TV<\/em> reporter Michael Seiden, attorneys for Young Thug will make their arguments for bond on June 2. At the same time, prosecutors have filed a motion to have Thug\u2019s attorney, Brian Steel, removed from the case, citing a conflict of interest. Judge Glanville, however, didn\u2019t go into specific details.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Attorneys for Young Thug will make their argument for bond on June 2 after prosecution filed motion to have YT\u2019s attorney thrown of the case, citing conflict of interest.<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wsbtv?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@wsbtv<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Michael Seiden (@SeidenWSBTV) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SeidenWSBTV\/status\/1528776481425457152?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 23, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Gunna\u2019s attorney Steve Sadow reportedly proposed multiple bond conditions, including a $750,000 secured bond, house arrest with electronic monitoring and forfeiture of three properties.<\/p>\n<p>Sadow said Gunna\u2019s parents would also put up their homes and Gunna would allow prosecutors to record all of his phone calls.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutor Don Geary argued against bond, claiming Gunna is one of the leaders of YSL and in a \u201ccommand\u201d position, meaning he has the ability to order hits and could intimidate witnesses.
