\n Count another head coach among the NFL\u2019s positive COVID-19 test results.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn revealed his case to his team during a virtual meeting, as shown Tuesday night during the opening minutes of HBO\u2019s \u201cHard Knocks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t promise you [that] you are not going to get infected,\u201d Lynn said. \u201cI got infected.\u201d<\/p>\n

The video clip immedia<\/a>tely cut to players\u2019 surprised reactions, including the stunned soon-to-be-memed look of star defensive end Joey Bosa.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve talked to some people that say they are sick of this virus,\u201d Lynn said. \u201cWhat the hell is that supposed to mean? Let me tell you something: You ain\u2019t promised next year. You ain\u2019t promised tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

The New Orleans Saints\u2019 Sean Payton and the Philadelphia Eagles\u2019 Doug Pederson also are known to have tested positive. Later in the episode, Lynn tells the Chargers team psychologist that he did not share his diagnosis \u2013 coughing and body aches were the initial symptoms \u2013 with anyone.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I want to do is I want to limit your exposure,\u201d Lynn said. \u201cSo when that damn whistle blows let\u2019s go kick somebody\u2019s ass and play football. One team will do this [handling the virus] better than the other 31. Trust me. It might as well be us.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is not known when or how Lynn, 51, contracted the virus.<\/p>\n

\u201cHard Knocks\u201d \u2013 the popular behind-the-scenes training camp show \u2013 is featuring both the Chargers and Rams in a new twist about two teams in the same city. The first episode was heavily dedicated to showing steps taken to protect and test the players.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou feel a little bit like an outcast. That was probably harder for me than the sickness,\u201d Lynn said, per the San Diego Union-Tribune. \u201cI was feeling like, \u2018I can\u2019t go here or I\u2019m going to infect this person.\u2019 When you\u2019re used to fixing the problem, now I\u2019m the problem.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
