He later regained his short-term memory. <\/p>\n<p>Recognizing he was likely suffering from another TGA episode, the man went to a local emergency room, where a neurological examination returned \u201ccompletely normal.\u201d His memory again returned a short time later. <\/p>\n<p>The authors of the Irish Medical Journal article \u2014 who work in the Department of Neurology at University Hospital Limerick \u2014 said that up to 10% of people who suffer TGA will suffer a subsequent episode. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/05\/sex-02.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\" Irish man isn't alone, with the experts asserting that sex can be a trigger for TGA. The brain recovers.
