Here\u2019s how to do it on your iPhone or Android phone.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Is_Uniswap\"><\/span>What Is Uniswap?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/uniswap.org\/\">Uniswap<\/a> is known as a decentralized exchange (DEX). Exchanges like <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=204a528a336ede4177fff0d84a044482&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.coinbase.com%2F\">Coinbase<\/a> or <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=204a528a336ede4177fff0d84a044482&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gemini.com%2F\">Gemini<\/a> are known as centralized exchanges. Centralized exchange operate for a profit and make their money by charging fees on transactions. In addition, they do not list some cryptocurrencies that people are looking for.<\/p>\n<p>DEXs use code known as smart contracts to facilitate trades. There is no business behind them. Most importantly, they are mainly used to buy and purchase tokens; especially the ones not listed on the centralized exchanges.<\/p>\n<p>To operate with DEXs a cryptocurrency wallet is needed. Before <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/metamask.io\/\">MetaMask<\/a>\u2018s mobile <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>, it was a little difficult to make these sorts of transactions. Now, users can buy and sell tokens without even opening another app.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_note\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> To be clear, this is not investment advice. Select the option that is best for you. If you\u2019ve never done this before, you will likely have to connect a debit or credit card. From here you will be able to exchange your ETH for any token.<\/p>\n<p>Press the \u201cSelect a token\u201d button.<\/p>\n<p>A window should appear with a list of tokens available for purchase. In this example, ETH is being \u201cswapped\u201d for Chainlink (LINK). Then press \u201cConfirm Swap\u201d. One last time press \u201cConfirm\u201d. Your transaction will be finalized in a few minutes at most.
