Her happy medium: \u201cCorporate treasury professional skilled in identifying and implementing strategies for increasing cash flow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lorenzo recommends using as many of the 2,600 characters as needed in the \u201cAbout\u201d section to tell a compelling story in first-person about your most impressive qualifications, professional values and career journey.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe extra space and more personal tone of your profile will allow you to paint a more complete picture of who you are as a human being than on your resume, which helps show recruiters that you align with their company,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd while your resume\u2019s \u2018skills\u2019 section should stay concise and be tailored for each job, you should fill up your LinkedIn \u2018skills\u2019 section with as many relevant skills as you can (up to the max of 50), since this will increase the odds of recruiters finding you in their keyword searches.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Get_some_recommendations\"><\/span><strong>Get some recommendations<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cSeek out recommendations now, even if you\u2019re not actively job searching,\u201d said Lorenzo. \u201cRecommendations are a key part of your profile because they add valuable <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a> proof. Then ask them to do the same for you.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Regularly_maintain_your_online_professional_persona\"><\/span>Regularly maintain your online professional persona<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Your digital presence is often the first impression a hiring manager or recruiter has of you.<br \/>\u201cUse your social media to show that you are interested, engaged and knowledgeable about what is happening in your industry,\u201d said Feind Reeves. Join relevant professional groups on LinkedIn or share insightful articles related to your field of expertise on Twitter, for instance.<\/p>\n<p>Digital profiles are not \u201cone and done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoogle yourself every once in a while,\u201d said Feind Reeves. \u201cUpdate accomplishments, even if you are not looking for a job.
