Innerestingly enough, the hospital was only a couple of hours away from Meghan\u2019s Montecito estate. But while it was unclear whether or not the 40-year-old contacted her father amid his medical emergency, reports have now come out that she has been trying to contact him to \u201cheal\u201d their years-long rift.<\/p>\n<p>An insider shared with <em>The Mirror<\/em> that Meghan reached out to Thomas\u2019 camp after he left the hospital following five days of treatment, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cDespite their estrangement, Meghan is concerned. She wants to know if there is any way to contact her father privately, without other family knowing about it or having to get involved.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Related: <em>Little Women: Atlanta <\/em>Star Shares Health Update One Month After Suffering A Stroke!<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That would most likely be because of her half-sister <strong>Samantha Markle<\/strong>, who has made it very clear her disdain for Meghan and even blamed her for everything! As she previously told <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10850461\/Meghans-father-Thomas-Markle-suffered-major-stroke-reveals-DAN-WOOTTON.html\"><em>Dailymail.com<\/em><\/a> when the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> of his stroke broke:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt\u2019s a travesty how much he\u2019s been tortured and how much he\u2019s had to go through thanks to my sister\u2019s disregard the past few years. That is unforgivable.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Damn!!! So with this in mind, the <em>Mirror<\/em> source noted that the Duchess of Sussex does not want to interact with her siblings while trying to extend an olive branch to Thomas at this time:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cMeghan can\u2019t contact her half-siblings because she believes they have their own agendas. If she can contact their dad, she wants it to be totally private. It won\u2019t involve Netflix, it won\u2019t involve any photographs and it must not involve any tip-offs to the paparazzi.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Meanwhile, Thomas has since been released from the hospital, expressing to<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10864157\/Thomas-Markle-77-leaves-hospital-five-days-stroke-wishes-Queen-happy-Jubilee.html\"><em> Dailymail.com<\/em><\/a> on Sunday that he is thankful \u201cto be alive\u201d and still has \u201can uphill battle\u201d with his recovery:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI feel hugely grateful and know how lucky I am to be alive. I want to thank everyone, especially the wonderful doctors and nurses who saved my life. They are angels. I have been deeply moved by loving messages I\u2019ve received from all over the world. People have been so kind. I can\u2019t speak right now, but I am working hard and will thank people properly when I can.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>His son <strong>Thomas Markle Jr.<\/strong> also shared how the former lighting director has already been \u201cmaking great progress,\u201d all thanks to the help of a speech therapist. He added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI will be here for Dad and do whatever it takes to help him on his road to recovery. It\u2019s been a terrible shock for everyone, but Dad is a strong man.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Who knows what may come out of this! Perhaps, Meghan and Thomas will finally reunite once and for all following this scary ordeal!
