People \u2014 including media \u2014 ducking for cover.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ryansongalia\/status\/1530784834217562112\">Video<\/a> showed crowds scrambling and another <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/thakidfrombk\/status\/1530784679850389504\">clip<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared to show shoes and other items strewn on the floor in the aftermath.<\/p>\n<p>Although it was not an active shooter situation, there were erroneous reports circulating on social media as the nation remains on edge following two recent mass shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>An NYPD spokesperson confirmed to The Post the active shooter report is \u201cinaccurate.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a large crowd condition. No shots fired. No one shot outside the Barclay\u2019s Center,\u201d the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t immediately clear how many people were hurt or what the extent of their injuries were.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-wrapper twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I was just in the Barclays center and suddenly I heard shouting and saw people running, then we were being yelled at that there was an active shooter and we had to huddle in a room and close the doors, I was so fucking petrified man.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 NaomiOsaka\u5927\u5742\u306a\u304a\u307f (@naomiosaka) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/naomiosaka\/status\/1530786693825146880?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 29, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Champion Tennis player Naomi Osaka was at Saturday\u2019s fights, and said she was \u201cpetrified\u201d in the ensuing mayhem after a shooter rumor circulated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was just in the Barclays center and suddenly I heard shouting and saw people running, then we were being yelled at that there was an active shooter and we had to huddle in a room and close the doors, I was so f\u2013king petrified man,\u201d she <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/naomiosaka\/status\/1530786693825146880\">tweeted <\/a>around 1:45 a.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Another Twitter user <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/amaniix3\/status\/1530793404334067712\">wrote<\/a>, \u201cEveryone at<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/barclayscenter\"> @barclayscenter<\/a> was panicking.
