\u201cMaestro.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The biographical drama stars Cooper as the legendary Broadway composer Leonard Bernstein, alongside Carey Mulligan as Bernstein\u2019s wife Felicia Montealegre. <\/p>\n<p>The celebrated composer, credited with reinventing the American musical,\u00a0died in November 2021\u00a0at age 91.<\/p>\n<p>Netflix released photos from the set <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/netflix\/status\/1531289340210360322\">on Monday<\/a>, showing Cooper transformed into Bernstein at various stages in the musical icon\u2019s life. <\/p>\n<p>The stunning hair and make up work morphed the Oscar-nominated actor and director, 47, into Bernstein, from a handsome young Broadway upstart to an aged veteran composer.<\/p>\n<figure href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2021\/film\/news\/netflix-scott-stuber-david-fincher-dave-chappelle-1235133854\/\">told\u00a0Variety<\/a>\u00a0about the time and effort put into Cooper\u2019s transformation. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve done a lot of work on the makeup. We\u2019ve done a lot of work on the voice. I\u2019m excited to see someone so deeply focused on creating a story that means so much to him. But I had just been working on\u00a0\u2018A Star Is Born.\u2019 And I said, \u2018Listen, all I want to do is write and direct <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a>. I always felt like I could play a conductor, but may I research the material and see if I can write it and direct it?
