Know that once you remove a folder, you can\u2019t restore it, but you can <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/699904\/how-to-create-a-new-folder-in-gmail\/\">create a new folder from scratch if you want.<\/p>\n<p>Before you begin with the folder removal process, if you want to delete all your emails that are in that folder, find and delete all those emails first. Then proceed to the section below to delete the folder itself.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Remove_a_Folder_Label_From_Gmails_Web_Version\"><\/span>Remove a Folder (Label) From Gmail\u2019s Web Version<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On your desktop computer, like Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook, use the Gmail website to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/761759\/how-to-delete-all-emails-in-gmail\/\">delete your email folders.<\/p>\n<p>To start, launch a web browser on your computer and open <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/mail.google.com\/mail\/u\/0\/\">Gmail<\/a>.
