Music president Pusha T unleashed \u201cThe Story Of Adidon\u201d diss aimed at Drake, revealing he had a \u201csecret\u201d kid in the process. In response, Drake dropped the \u201cDuppy Freestyle\u201d in which he responded to claims he used ghostwriters by saying he\u2019d actually ghostwritten for Kanye. He also accused Ye of holding the late Virgil Abloh back.<\/p>\n<p>By 2021, the public discourse between Kanye and Drake had finally dissipated after the two rap titans came together for the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert in Los Angeles \u2014 but not before battling over release dates for their respective albums, <em>Donda<\/em> and <em>Certified Lover Boy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Now, Consequence wants to make sure Drake knows he\u2019s sorry for any role he played in the situation and own up to taking the release date competition too far.<\/p>\n<p>As he said in the caption, \u201cPetty Energy ain\u2019t it for 2022. A few years ago, Drake had Ye &amp; I over to cook up n catch a vibe. As an OG, I owe\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"notranslate\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/champagnepapi\/\">@champagnepapi<\/a>\u00a0an apology for letting the competition over the LP\u2019s spiral out of control. Pardon me for whatever was said about you or your loved ones. Keep doing you bro\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Consequence only got involved once Drake leaked Kanye\u2019s collaboration with Andr\u00e9 3000 \u201cLife Of The Party\u201d in September 2021. Shortly after the track arrived, Cons dropped a song called \u201cParty Time\u201d in which he took several jabs at Drake.\u00a0Early in the track, he makes a slick reference to \u201cThe Story Of Adidon.\u201d He also accused him of unapologetically pursuing Kanye\u2019s wife Kim Kardashian.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou might as well say you\u2019ll take the next man\u2019s life,\u201d he rapped. \u201c\u2018Cause that\u2019s the dark place that makes most men fight\/But from the outside, a person can tell\/You going through your own personal hell\/Your parents out here like Sonya and Dell\/And ever since Sophie had a story to tell\/You been taking Ls and coming out the cage\/And thought we couldn\u2019t tell you were coming after K.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With that all water under the bridge, Consequence can focus on his upcoming release.
