\n A GOP congressional candidate in Georgia said Facebook is \u201cdefending terrorists\u201d by removing a campaign video of her holding an AR-15 rifle as she warns Antifa to stay out of her state.<\/p>\n

Marjorie Taylor Greene, a businesswoman vying in Tuesday\u2019s primary to succeed US Rep. Tom Graves in Georgia\u2019s 14th congressional district, posted the spot on Facebook on June 2, telling the far left militant group to \u201cstay the hell out of northwestern Georgia\u201d while on the porch of a local business.<\/p>\n

Two days later, the platform removed the video, saying it violating company policies against promoting the use of firearms, Fox News<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve seen it time after time again, where conservative Americans put their thoughts, their feelings and their expressions and their beliefs on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, but yet our posts get deleted and we get censored,\u201d Greene told Fox News Monday.<\/p>\n

Greene said she heard \u201crumors\u201d that members of Antifa were headed to her community, prompting her to release the ad.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a legal gun owner, I have a Georgia weapon\u2019s license, I\u2019m a business owner,\u201d Greene said Monday. \u201cI\u2019m a wife and mom and I have every right to stand there and say, \u2018Do not come and burn our churches, loot our businesses and destroy our homes.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a statement to Fox News, Facebook defended removing the campaign spot.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe removed this ad, which advocates the use of deadly weapons against a clearly defined group of people, for violating our policies against inciting violence,\u201d the tech giant said.<\/p>\n

Greene countered Facebook\u2019s response by accusing the company of siding with \u201cterrorists\u201d while denying that she was inciting violence.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re Communist basement dwellers who have come out and poured gasoline on a fire and basically hijacked protests and turned it into complete chaos and anarc in the streets of America and Facebook is defending them,\u201d Greene said. \u201cThey\u2019re not allowing us everyday Americans to defend ourselves, they\u2019re choosing the side of anarchists and terrorists.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ad reportedly reached more than 2 million people before it was removed. On Twitter, where the video was still available as of Tuesday, it had amassed more than 1.1 million views and nearly 20,000 retweets.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
