The iOttie Velox Magnetic Wireless Charging Dash and Windshield Mount gives <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le device owners an opportunity to take advantage of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/695827\/what-is-magsafe-for-iphone-12-and-what-can-it-do\/\">MagSafe charging<\/a> and cut a few cables out of the picture. However, while the mount is certainly built well, the attached cable takes up quite a bit of room.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Design_Sleek_and_Durable\"><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" name=\"moka_anchor_Design\">Design: Sleek and Durable<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"greybox_callout\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Total Input:<\/strong> DC 9.0V-167A, DC 5.0V-2.0A<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wireless Charger Output:<\/strong> 7.5W<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Velox Magnetic Wireless Charging Dash and Windshield Mount is one of many <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reviewgeek.com\/59992\/belkins-40-magsafe-wireless-car-charger-looks-super-slick\/\">car chargers designed for MagSafe devices. You\u2019ll get the magnetic mounting plate, suction cup mount, dashboard pad, and a 12V power adapter in the box. The USB-C cable is built into the charger and measures 5-feet (1.52-meters) long.<\/p>\n<p>The mount features a soft silicone mounting face that manages higher temperatures nicely. Cheaper mounts have a habit of capturing heat (especially in darker-colored cars), making them hard to manage in warmer months or all-around hot climates.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_note\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> MagSafe magnets are compatible with the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 Pro (as well as future iPhones). Other models, such as the iPhone 8, XR, and 11, can charge but will not lock magnetically to the mount.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Overall, it\u2019s a fine mount. The adhesive suction cup is absurdly strong. The dashboard pad it comes with will only attach once, and while the main cup can be removed and reapplied, it too will rapidly lose strength. This is a little upsetting, but not uncommon. But while you can stick it to either your dashboard or your windshield, I recommend the former.<\/p>\n<p>The arm and cable took up too much space regardless of where I placed them. That 5-feet (1.52-meters) of cable doesn\u2019t disappear just because you\u2019ve attached it to your dashboard, and with the mount protruding another 3.58-inches (90.93mm), that\u2019s a noticeable amount of the device obscuring either your vision, movement, or both. Full stop, you\u2019re going to need a pretty big windshield to accommodate this charging mount.<\/p>\n<p>The charger pushes out 7.5W, which is certainly a respectable number. The wireless plate on the mount does a perfectly fine job\u2014but it\u2019s not really wireless. You have to attach your device to the plate which is connected to the mount linked to the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/211843\/usb-type-c-explained-what-it-is-and-why-youll-want-it\/\">USB-C cable<\/a> that runs to the power source.<\/p>\n<p>Velox does have an alternative <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/iOttie-Magnetic-Wireless-Compatible-Including\/dp\/B098HD3B4L\/?tag=reviewgeekreviews-20\">vent-mount<\/a> that takes up far less space and, in my opinion, is a much better purchase for the majority of users. The MagSafe functionality is a great feature to have, but the model is just a bit too big and clunky. This isn\u2019t just competing with other MagSafe windshield and dashboard mounts, it\u2019s competing with every other mount on the market.<\/p>\n<p>As it stands now, the only difference between this and something like the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/MAGDMB-MagicMount-Universal-Frustration-Packaging\/dp\/B00I608BJ8\/?tag=reviewgeekreviews-20\">SCOSCHE Stick-On Mount<\/a> is the charger, and that\u2019s not worth the extra $50 in my eyes.
