Fox<\/strong> has a MAJOR problem with her comments!<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday\u2019s episode of <em>The Wendy Williams<\/em> <em>Show<\/em>, the actress got candid about how upset she was to hear that Jada took \u201cno accountability\u201d for her role in the assault against <strong>Chris Rock<\/strong> during the award ceremony. ICYMI, Jada addressed the controversy in a clip on Wednesday\u2019s<em> Red Table Talk<\/em>, mainly just wishing that the men involved would one day be able to \u201cheal\u201d and \u201creconcile.\u201d Getting visibly emotional when the topic was brought up, Viv explained her distaste for the comments, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis is going to be difficult for me. These are my peers. I\u2019ve done a movie with both of them. <em>Set It Off<\/em> with Jada and <em>Independence<\/em> <em>Day<\/em> with Will Smith, which absolutely changed my life. When I saw this video last night, it made me cry, I\u2019ll be very honest with you guys.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"highlight\">Wow!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Reason For The Slap?! Will Smith Talks \u2018Pain\u2019 From Childhood<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 57-year-old went on to reflect on the lavish evening, recalling how excited everyone was to see Will be honored for his role in<em> King Richard<\/em>. In her opinion, it was going to be a crowning moment of his career, she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI really felt to be a partner to Will Smith who\u2019s career basically took a crumble that night. We were all rooting for Will Smith that night \u2014 Oscar night \u2014 we wanted him to win. Will Smith that night as far as I was concerned was going to be crowned this generation\u2019s <strong>Sidney Poitier<\/strong>, which is a huge honor.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And while he did take home the Best Actor in a Leading Role trophy, his achievement was certainly clouded by the major controversy. And for good reason, he sl<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed the stand-up co<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>n on live television just moments before!<\/p>\n<p>The assault, as Perezcious readers know, occurred after Chris made a joke about Jada\u2019s shaved head, something that Vivica thinks Jada didn\u2019t properly acknowledge in her new statement on the incident. The<em> Two Can Play That <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Game<\/a><\/em> alum continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWill Smith was defending her honor, that\u2019s the reason he walked on stage and slapped because he felt like his wife had been offended so for me to see no accountability as a partner. Also, let\u2019s not forget, Chris Rock was assaulted. We cannot forget that for basically telling a joke that I really felt wasn\u2019t that bad.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It\u2019s an interesting point, especially since it wasn\u2019t <em>The Prince of Bel-Air<\/em> star\u2019s first reaction to get physical. As we all saw in footage, he actually laughed at the joke before looking at his wife and realizing she was mad AF! Then he sauntered on stage and made a scene of it, all while Jada seemingly laughed along. So, we understand why Viv thinks Jada owes an apology of her own \u2014 but, still, Jada was the butt of the joke. A joke that was about an autoimmune condition she\u2019s openly struggled with. She also expressed frustration that the celebratory evening \u2014 a night honoring and created by many diverse people \u2014 became one big controversy, adding:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cLet\u2019s not forget the show was executive produced by <strong>Will Packer<\/strong>, an African American man. This night was a night of African American and diversity for brown and black people. That now will forever be scarred.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <em>Keeping Up With the Joneses<\/em> lead ended her emotional spiel by expressing her \u201clove\u201d for the Smith family, sharing:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI have love for the Smiths. I know their children. I\u2019ve watched them grow up. I just wish we could have just a little more accountability and for it to not seem so self-righteous on Jada\u2019s part and that\u2019s my feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Whoa.
