She said doctors are also working to determine if the tumor is the cause of her back pain or a contributing factor.<\/p>\n<p>She plans to have further tests next week and is uncertain how much playing time she will miss.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve gone through a lot of procedures so far and with the process of elimination we are narrowing it down,\u201d Kang said. \u201cIt\u2019s going to take time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The American shot a 3-over 74 on Friday after an opening-round 71 at Pine Needles and was around the cut line with the afternoon wave on the course.<\/p>\n<p>Kang has been dealing with back pain since early April, when she withdrew from the Lotte Championship. I wanted to play four rounds out here and then my focus was going to be getting better after that. I\u2019m good enough to play and all I wanted to compete.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Outside of a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>le bogey on No. 1, Kang said she is h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y with the way she played Friday considering she hasn\u2019t practiced in \u201ceight or nine weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kang turned pro in 2011 and has won six LPGA Tour events, including one major, the 2017 Women\u2019s PGA Championship.
