\n Dee Nguyen has been fired from MTV sports reality show, \u201cThe Challenge,\u201d after making insensitive comments about the Black Lives Matter movement.<\/p>\n

Nguyen, featured in the on-going season, got into a spat with her social media<\/a> followers after she posted about \u201cBlack Out Tuesday\u201d last week. According to The Ashley one person responded, \u201cWake up! People are dying.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nguyen, 27, reportedly responded, \u201cPeople die every f\u2013king day. U don\u2019t know me or what I do. I suggest you wake the f\u2013k up and get off social media.\u201d She then added, \u201cIDK why some of you think I\u2019m anti-BLM. I\u2019ve been saying that since the day I lost my virginity.\u201d<\/p>\n

The situation deteriorated from there with Nguyen feuding with black castmates Bayleigh Dayton and Chris Williams. The married couple accused Nguyen of using the movement \u201cfor clout\u201d by trying to turn the developments gripping our nation as a reality TV storyline.<\/p>\n

Williams, who goes by Swaggy C, claimed Dee texted him: \u201chey make sure you tell Bayleigh to keep me blocked & you still talk bad about me. I\u2019m thinking of storylines for season 36.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything is not for f\u2013king clout and drama,\u201d Swaggy C continued. \u201cThe f\u2013k. CLOWN. I\u2019m bout to air her whole s\u2013t out. Using BLM for clout.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nguyen fired back claiming to be a victim of \u201ccancel culture\u201d before ultimately apologizing. However, it came too late for MTV and the cable channel \u201csevered ties\u201d with her, though it will continue to air the current season.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a result of Dee Nguyen\u2019s offensive comments on the Black Lives Matter movement, we have severed ties with her,\u201d a statement posted to the official \u2018Challenge\u2019 Twitter account reads. \u201cOut of respect for our Challengers, we\u2019ll air our season as planned. We strongly condemn systemic racism and stand with those raising their voices against injustice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Challenge\u201d is in its 35th season and pits contestants against each other in a series<\/a> of athletic events, leading to eliminations and eventual champions.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
