Fans last saw the biz-whiz \u2014 a brash, badass daughter who\u2019ll do anything to help her rich cattleman father, John (Kevin Costner), keep their massive ranch \u2014 in the neo-Western\u2019s record-setting January finale. But Reilly hasn\u2019t worn Beth\u2019s boots since the cast wr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed filming on that episode in 2020. \u201cI\u2019m so excited to be back,\u201d she says, marveling that there\u2019s still snow on the mountains in the Bitterroot Valley in May. Rest assured, things are about to heat up.<\/p>\n<p>The British actress has read the first six scripts of what will be the longest season yet of Paramount Network\u2019s runaway hit: 14 episodes, split into two parts, premiering November 13. \u201cBeth is going into this feeling pretty good about everything,\u201d Reilly hints. \u201cShe\u2019s confident that things are going to be looked after better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One reason for the optimism: Beth now has her adoptive brother Jamie (Wes Bentley), the acting attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>, under her thumb. In the Season 4 finale, she cornered him into shooting his biological dad, who\u2019d ordered a hit on the Duttons, and then she snapped a photo of him dumping the body. \u201cThere\u2019s a bit of the early dynamic coming back into the show, of them having to work together,\u201d Reilly reveals. \u201c[Beth and John] are using Jamie to put things through that they wouldn\u2019t be able to do. They need him working for the family. Whether the skeletons in the Duttons\u2019 closet affect John\u2019s run for the office, we\u2019ll have to wait to see. The family has killed and lied to keep their ranch from aggressive land grabbers and developers. And they <i>really<\/i> piss off their enemies (those who stay alive). Last season, Market Equities\u2019 CEO Caroline Warner (Jacki Weaver) promised Beth that she\u2019d build a restroom where the ranch house now stands and send her to jail.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCaroline is back,\u201d Reilly confirms of Beth\u2019s formidable former boss. \u201cAnd she\u2019s got friends. Beth married her longtime love in the season finale, dashing to the ranch and kidnapping a priest along the way, while wearing the slinky gold dress she\u2019d donned to threaten a man in prison. Fifteen million viewers are still talking about the chain-mail eyepopper, which Reilly found online herself. \u201cI was like, \u2018What\u2019s the most gangster-moll dress I can have?\u2019\u201d she says with a laugh. She got cold feet about being able to \u201cpull this off\u201d at the fitting and called show cocreator Taylor Sheridan to pitch an alternative: \u201c \u2018Tay, wouldn\u2019t it be nice if she runs home, goes into her father\u2019s closet and puts on her mother\u2019s wedding dress?\u2019 He went, \u2018Nah.\u2019 And I got it: Beth doesn\u2019t give a f\u2014 what people think of her. She makes me a braver actor.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>As Season 5 opens, Beth and Rip are enjoying their union. \u201cThey\u2019re in a beautiful, solid place,\u201d Reilly says. \u201cThere\u2019s something magical for her that this is now, finally, her husband, her person forever. Marriage for her is a wonderful thing. Has it tamed her?
