Netflix has released the official trailer for\u00a0<strong><em>The Devil All the Time<\/em><\/strong>, an adaptation of\u00a0<strong>Donald Ray Pollock\u2019<\/strong>s\u00a0book of the same name\u00a0which stars Holland,\u00a0<strong>Robert Pattinson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jason Clarke<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Riley Keough<\/strong>, and more put on their best Ohio accents in what\u2019s described as an \u201cexplosive\u201d Midwestern Gothic tale. Not only does it have internet heartthrobs Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson starring in a movie together, it\u2019s got indie film darlings like Clarke, Keough, as well as\u00a0<strong>Sebastian Stan<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mia Wasikowska<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Harry Melling<\/strong>,<strong>\u00a0Eliza Scanlen,\u00a0Haley Bennett<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Pokey Lafarge<\/strong>, to round out the star-studded cast. Based on\u00a0Ray Pollock\u2019s\u00a0book of the same name,\u00a0<em>The Devil All the Time<\/em> is a sprawling Midwestern Gothic that spans two decades, a young man who finds himself surrounded by various sinister characters and is forced to fight the evil forces that threaten him and everything he loves. And if you saw the first look images last week, everyone is certainly looking very sinister.<\/p>\n<p>Directed by <strong>Antonio Campos<\/strong> (<em>Christine<\/em>), who co-wrote the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> with his brother Paulo,\u00a0<em>The Devil All the Time<\/em>\u00a0is\u00a0described the film as a \u201cperfect marriage\u201d between a \u201csouthern gothic and noir,\u201d according to Campos. It seems like a great vehicle for Holland too, who makes his big leading-man debut outside of the\u00a0<em>Spider-Man: Homecoming<\/em> films for Marvel. With a cast as star-studded as this, it wouldn\u2019t be a surprise if Netflix pushed\u00a0<em>The Devil All the Time<\/em> as an awards contender, should the Oscars or any awards season happen this year.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the official synopsis for\u00a0<em>The Devil All the Time<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighboring backwoods, sinister characters \u2014 an unholy preacher (Robert Pattinson), twisted couple (Jason Clarke and Riley Keough), and crooked sheriff (Sebastian Stan) \u2014 converge around young Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family.
