It\u2019s a life-changing event. It\u2019s not something you\u2019re going to recover from.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to criminal complaints, Maldonado allegedly punched and stabbed two men at Seventh Avenue and West 39th Street on May 9 \u2014 and then stabbed a cyclist in the leg on May 20.<\/p>\n<p>He is suspected in at least two other similar attacks in Manhattan since Jan. 1 \u2014 and has dozens of prior busts in recent years, law-enforcement sources said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCatch and release does not work,\u201d one frustrated cop told The Post. \u201cYou can see it in his eyes.
