Just 13% said they were not dealing with money woes, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/22056399-2022-05-12-post-schar-school-trend-for-release\">the poll found<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Americans are also hunting for bargains \u2014 with 87% saying they\u2019ve made more of an effort to find the cheapest prices for products, compared to 12% who said they weren\u2019t scanning for deals.<\/p>\n<p>And 27% of those polled said the lagging economy and rising inflation had forced them to take a second job or work additional hours, according to the poll, which has a margin of error of four percentage points.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re cutting back on everything \u2013 and I mean everything,\u201d Bethany Davis, 20, of Barbourville, Kentucky, told the newspaper. \u201cGas, meat, bread, it\u2019s all expensive as hell.
