Whether he was rocking with\u00a0Living Legends, touring with Atmosphere, spitting alongside Tech N9ne as part of the Strange Music family or venturing into new territory with The Grouch as Thees Handz, the versatile MC has continually evolved over the last two plus decades.<\/p>\n<p>But it looks like Murs\u2019 fruitful rap journey is coming to an end \u2014 but not before he unloads several new projects. On Friday (June 10), the Los Angeles native shared an Instagram video informing his fans he\u2019s putting a period on his career, while delivering a single called \u201cThe Beginning of the End.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery story has a beginning, a middle and an end,\u201d he says in the clip. \u201cAnd y\u2019all know I\u2019m a storyteller. Today I released a song called \u2018The Beginning of the End.\u2019 About 20 years ago, I released a song called \u2018The End of the Beginning\u2019 because I knew I was beginning the midpoint of my journey. Today, I begin the end of my journey as an MC.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cWe reached that point y\u2019all. About a year or so left and I\u2019m giving this notice because I want you all to enjoy all the projects I have coming. I have a lot of music coming.
