She is at peace \u2026 I played her [B-52\u2019s song] \u2018Roam\u2019 during her transition. Now she will roam forever. Rest in peace, my love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cruise\u2019s cause of death was not given, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/2022\/jun\/10\/julee-cruise-singer-david-lynch-collaborator-dies-aged-65-b52s\">the Guardian reported<\/a>. However, in 2018, the singer <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/julee.cruise1\/posts\/1572674659512690\">announced on Facebook<\/a> that she was battling systemic lupus, which left her in chronic pain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can hardly walk,\u201d she wrote in the heartbreaking post. \u201cAnd now it\u2019s difficult to stand.
